A pool, a rooftop, a kitchen, and a lot of quiet. We are a small place on a hillside in Kangra — seven rooms, close enough to drive up for the afternoon, far enough that the noise stops at the gate.
Come up for a day or stay the week. Either way, nobody will hurry you.

Open water on a hillside, with terraced fields falling away on every side. Most people come for one afternoon and then ask about a room.
Take your shoes off, stay a while.
Lawns all the way to the edge, and then the fields — those belong to the family too, so you can keep walking. Tea in the afternoon. When you do feel like moving, the whole valley is within reach — we have written up two days of it and the Devi darshan circuit.
Sleep in. Nobody is counting hours.
Deluxe rooms, kept simple and kept clean. You are up a hillside with the valley below and very little to do, which is the entire idea.

There is a restaurant on site, so you do not have to drive anywhere to eat. Himachali plates, the north Indian regulars, and chai that keeps arriving whether or not you asked.
Meals are not bundled into the room — you eat what you feel like and it goes on the bill. Tell us what you like when you book and the kitchen will sort it out.

The rooftop is where the day turns. Lights go up, music goes on, and the valley disappears into the dark underneath you. There is a set of speakers up there and you are welcome to play your own.
