Yash Rock Hotel is a short drive from Kangra airport at Gaggal, which is the airport for Dharamshala and the whole valley. Rooms start at ₹999 a night, or ₹1,699 with air conditioning, there is a restaurant on site, and parking is free — so an early flight out or a late one in does not have to mean a room next to the terminal.

Close enough that a morning departure is an ordinary start rather than a night without sleep, and far enough up the hill that you are hearing the valley instead of the road. The drive is short and the road is ordinary; no part of it needs a four-wheel drive.
Tell us the flight time.
Check-in is 12 noon and check-out is 11 am on paper, and neither is the reason anybody misses a flight. If you need to be off the hill before dawn, say so the night before and it will be arranged rather than negotiated at the gate.
Arriving late is the same conversation in reverse. Message us with the flight and somebody will be up — there is no front desk that closes here, because there is no front desk.

There is a pool and a restaurant, and Dharamshala is up the hill from here. A spare morning before a flight is better spent in the water than in a departure lounge.
