Yash Rock Hotel is just up the road from Delhi Public School Kangra, at Tiara. There is a restaurant for lunch after school, a swimming pool open 9 am to 6 pm every day, and lawns to sit on while the children swim. Students pay ₹200, and nobody asks for an ID.

The school is the nearest place on our list, nearer than the NIFT campus and nearer than the town. Come after a PTM or the afternoon pick-up. Parking is free, and nobody will hurry you out.
