Road distance to the gate, routed from our coordinates. We do not publish drive times — they move with the season, the traffic through Kotwali Bazaar and what the weather did overnight, and a wrong one on a hill road is how somebody arrives after dark. Coming from Palampur, Pathankot or Chandigarh needs confirming — ask us and we will tell you what the road is doing that day.

What to expect at the gate.
Parking is on site and there is no charge for it — drive up, leave the car, and you will not need it again until you go. Check-in is 12 noon, check-out is 11 am, and if you are arriving late just tell us when.
The pool is open 9 am to 6 pm and is included if you have a room. The lawns run to the edge on every side, and the farmland past them belongs to the family, so you can keep walking. We are not set up for pets.

If you are coming from further out than Pathankot, message us and we will tell you which way is actually quicker on the day.
Kangra airport at Gaggal, west of Dharamshala. It is the closest one by a long way — the drive up from it is short and ordinary.
Kangra Mandir, on the narrow-gauge Kangra Valley line. It is a slow and rather beautiful way in if you have the morning for it.
Yes. HRTC and private buses come into Kangra bus stand in town, and autos and taxis wait there. Message us when you get off and we will tell the driver the way up.
No. The road is ordinary and no part of it needs a four-wheel drive. If you are arriving after dark, message us and we will tell you what the last stretch is doing.
