Yash Rock Hotel is in the Kangra valley below Dharamshala, and in a match week at the HPCA stadium that is often where the rooms still are. Rooms start at ₹999 a night, or ₹1,699 with air conditioning, with a pool, a restaurant and free parking. Send your dates as soon as the fixture is announced.

The stadium is at Dharamshala, up the hill from us. Close enough that the match is a day out rather than an expedition, and far enough that when you come back down the valley is quiet.
The roof is yours after the match.
Cricket is rarely a trip for one. There are seven rooms, and the rooftop comes free with them — it holds twenty to thirty, and there are speakers up there for your own music. That is the evening after a match sorted.

Yes. It is a drive up to Dharamshala and back down after the match. On a match day the road up is slow, so leave earlier than you would think.
